This Privacy Policy explains how Trucept Solutions collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use Trucept WA, our WhatsApp Business API technology provider services, platform, applications, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.


1) Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to:

  • Business Customers (companies/organizations) who use Trucept WA to send and receive WhatsApp messages; and
  • End Users (individual recipients) who communicate with our Business Customers via WhatsApp.

Important: Trucept WA typically acts as a service provider/data processor for Business Customers. Business Customers control the content they send and how they use WhatsApp. If you are an end user, the Business Customer you are messaging may have its own privacy policy.


2) Information We Collect

A. Account & Business Information (from Business Customers)

  • Business name, contact name, email, phone number
  • Business address (if provided)
  • Billing and payment-related details (processed via payment partners, if applicable)
  • WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) identifiers, phone number IDs, business verification status, configuration details

B. Messaging & Communication Data

Depending on how your integration is configured, we may process:

  • Message metadata (timestamps, sender/recipient identifiers, delivery/read status)
  • Message content (text, templates, media) only to provide the Services and as configured by the Business Customer
  • Logs related to message delivery, errors, and performance

Note: WhatsApp/Meta may process messages according to their own terms and policies.

C. Technical, Usage & Device Data

  • IP address, browser type, device information
  • App/website usage events, diagnostic logs, crash reports
  • Cookies or similar tracking technologies (where applicable)

D. Support & Communications

  • Information you provide to customer support (tickets, emails, chat transcripts)
  • Call recordings (only if you are informed and where legally permitted)

3) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain Trucept WA
  • Enable WhatsApp messaging features and integrations
  • Authenticate users and manage accounts
  • Monitor performance, debug issues, and improve reliability
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements
  • Send service-related notices (e.g., policy changes, outages, security alerts)

We do not sell personal information.

  • Performance of a contract (providing Services to Business Customers)

A. With WhatsApp/Meta and Related Providers

To deliver messaging services, we exchange necessary data with WhatsApp/Meta and their systems (e.g., WABA IDs, message routing info, template submissions as needed).

B. With Service Providers (Sub-processors)

We may use trusted third parties to support the Services, such as:

  • Cloud hosting and storage
  • Logging/monitoring and security providers
  • Customer support/ticketing tools
  • Payment processors (if applicable)
    These providers are permitted to process data only to provide services to us under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

C. With Business Customers

Business Customers can access their own data, message history, and analytics within the platform, subject to their configuration.

D. For Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to:

  • Comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
  • Protect rights, safety, and security of Trucept, users, or the public
  • Investigate fraud or security issues

E. Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.


6) Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to:

  • Provide the Services

Messaging content retention may be configurable and/or determined by the Business Customer’s settings and applicable law.

  • Monitoring for suspicious activity
  • Secure development and change management practices

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own depending on where we and our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

End Users (WhatsApp recipients)

We may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in
  • Understand usage and improve performance
  • Maintain security and prevent abuse

Trucept WA is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
